Thanks to high-quality postpartum care, you will get priceless peace and security after returning from the maternity hospital. All this in your home environment. Our midwife and lactation consultant Eva Barešová will check your health and treat any birth injuries. She will give you advice and show you how to properly take care of a baby - how to breastfeed, bathe, hold and what daily rhythm to choose. She will advise you on how to eat a balanced diet while breastfeeding.
When it comes to harmonious development of the child, the key is for the mother to feel good. That is why we offer psychological and mental support as a part of our postpartum and postnatal care.
For new mothers
Postnatal and postpartum care is intended for mothers who have just given birth – for mothers of more than one child and especially for first-time mothers.
TIP - Make use of the support from your health insurance company
At Anahita, we can arrange care from a midwife who has contracts with the health insurance companies OZP and VoZP and provides individual postnatal care for mothers and their babies during the most sensitive first days and weeks.
A midwife’s visit may include, for example:
- checking and helping with the healing of birth injuries
- lactation counselling
- support with baby care
- basics of handling
The visit is always tailored to you individually. You therefore have the opportunity to discuss the topics that are most important to you at that particular moment.
Although the new focus of your life is your baby, don't forget to think about yourself too. Only a healthy, balanced and happy mother can ensure the optimal development of a healthy and happy child.
