Learning English through play
“Only the children know what they are looking for.“
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
Why Teach Children Languages from as Early as 3 Months?
It may seem unbelievable, but a child can learn as many languages as we regularly and systematically expose them to. Psychologists recommend introducing a foreign language using the same principles as a mother tongue – through play, nursery rhymes, and songs. The learning process is faster because all the senses are stimulated at the same time.
The earlier, the better. After all, we do not wait until a child starts speaking before introducing their native language. We speak to them from birth, allowing them to absorb correct pronunciation, the melody of the language, individual words and phrases, grammatical structures, and natural intonation.
What is Helen Doron English?
British linguist Helen Doron built her unique teaching method on a simple principle: children learn best when they play. Since 1985, thousands of babies and young children around the world have been learning through her approach. Today, more than 1.5 million students speak English thanks to the Helen Doron method.
Helen Doron English provides some of the best language-learning programmes in its category. The courses are developed by experienced specialists and taught exclusively by specially trained teachers with an excellent command of English. At Anahita, we proudly follow the same standards. Each course includes a specially designed learning package containing workbooks, original audio recordings, and interactive applications.

Baby’s Best Start: English for the Youngest Learners (3 Months – 2 Years)
Baby’s Best Start introduces spoken English through simple songs and nursery rhymes. In fact, it is seven programmes in one: English language development, social and pre-literacy skills, music and rhythm, brain development, baby sign language, and physical development.
Toddler's Best Start: English for Toddlers (2–3 Years)
Children can learn a foreign language as naturally as their mother tongue through playful rhymes and cheerful songs. The language patterns they absorb in early childhood help them understand and use the language more easily later on. A variety of activities and games help children develop motor skills, concentration, and logical thinking. They also learn to identify familiar objects, plants, animals, and parts of the body.
It’s a Baby Dragon: English for Preschoolers (3–5 Years)
It’s a Baby Dragon is a fun-filled course featuring music and simple English for young children. It is suitable for beginners as well as children continuing after Baby’s Best Start. Children follow educational stories with Prince Sam, Fluffy the Cat, and Didi the Dragon. Through these engaging adventures, they learn around 400 new words, 12 songs, and further develop their movement and coordination skills.
Jump with Joey: English for Children (6–9 Years)
Jump with Joey is the first English course to incorporate augmented reality. Children follow the adventures of Paul Ward and his friend Millie, who come to life through augmented reality in their activity books.Together, they help solve the mishaps caused by Joey the kangaroo and his mother, Kangi. Alongside developing their English skills, children also learn important values such as friendship and environmental awareness.
Classes take place once a week in small groups of 4 to 8 children.

September - June: every Friday at 10:00 am (excluding public holidays and the Christmas period)
Children learn languages most naturally and effectively between the ages of 1 and 3. During this period, language is stored in the brain differently from in adults, in the same area as their native language. It becomes part of their brain’s structure. It may sound surprising, but for young children there is no such thing as a foreign language.
“We’re delighted that our children started learning English from their very first months. It has truly become second nature to them, and they now use it with complete confidence.”
